You’ll need to provide fresh bedding every day and a high quality kitten food for her. Cats need to eat kitten food or a good all life stages food while pregnant and nursing. Have her spayed when the kittens are weaned and keep the kittens with her till at least 8-10 weeks old.
no just let her take care of her babies and kind of keep an eye on them to make sure she is nursing all of them and not pushing any to the side sometimes with kittens there may be certain one or ones the mother will not nurse but as long as she is taking care of all of them just let her do her job.
Depending on a couple of things.
If it is her first litter then she may have trouble if her mother instincts don’t kick in. (I have seen cat that abandoned her kittens once, 1st litter I think?) Just watch her behavior towards the kittens – is she feeding them?, cleaning and mothering them?, Always close at hand/leaving only to feed and go to the toilet?
If she is then she will be fine. Make sure she is comfortable and has good quality food available. But be prepared that she may move them to a place she believes is more secure and protected. (My cat moved hers into a old couch, there was a hole in it)
If she isn’t taking care of them, or they are not feeding or she has rejected one/more . Please ask advise from a vet – they will most likely suggest a formula. Do not feed them cows milk. This is a last result do not separate the cat from her kittens unless you really have to.
Some nice soft towels to help make a nest for the kittens.A supply of fresh water. She will still want a fesh supply of cat food.
In other words she will need you to keep the area clean for her. She will pick up the poop and P as best she can. She will stimulate their bowels and feed the babies. How many does she have? She only has service for 8; if there are more than this you will have to help arrange for them to eat in shifts.
You will have to supply her with clean towels. the old ones that are soft.Don’t worry about keeping them to warm mama will fix the temperature where they will be comfortable..

Cats are pretty reliable but if this is her first time I would monitor the baby’s care carefully to make sure.
