What is red, puffy pus coming out from a cat’s eye? I partially care for?

a cat who is not well maintained. I was wondering if I could purchase an animal eye ointment to put on it. I realize the cat should be seen by a vet, but the owner is unaware of proper pet care. Need to be careful of owner.

The original mother is crying and looking for the newborns but when we tried 2 timss to get her close with her kiddnes she doesnt want them but she continues crying and looking for them. Doesnt she recognise her kittens because another cat is breastfeeding them? What can we do to bring mother and kittens together again?

About how much a month is it to care for a cat?

My fiance and I are considering getting a kitten. We will be adopting from one of the local adoption agencies.

We would eventually like to get a dog, but feel that for right now we are not ready for a dog, but are for a kitten/cat. I figure a cat will besome what cheaper, right?

Do you own a dog and a cat? What is the difference in cost of care?

Thanks

How to best care for a pregnant cat with limited means?

A stray cat that prowls in our neighborhood sort of moved in with us and we recently noticed that her stomach is swelling and her nipples are enlarged. Obviously she’s pregnant. This is her first litter and we want to know how to take care of her, but don’t have enough money to take her to a vet at the moment (f*ck, i can’t even go to a doctor right now). So what are the steps? she’s been very slightly showing for 3 weeks now.
